Game parks safari - fabulous! In October 2019 Ross and I (very well-travelled), along with our photography-mad friend, Karen (incredibly well-travelled) had the absolute pleasure of doing the big four safari parks in Tanzania. Our guide, Fred, 'made' this trip for us (okay, so did the amazing animals and scenery!). Made it special, made it exciting, made it informative, made it fun and above all made it safe, inside and outside the parks. Being from a country (New Zealand) that doesn't have any real nasty animal/insects and visiting a country and wildlife parks that do was a little daunting. Fred, along with his knowledge, connections in the guiding fraternity, great sense of humour and love for and of his country made this The trip of a lifetime with a guide who has become a friend for life. Great communicator and excellent communication throughout. We made a travel change and this was handled seamlessly and communicated back very well. Highly recommend these guys for your Tanzanian travels.

Exceptional service, an unforgettable experience! We (2 adults) organized a 10-day long safari with Great Serengeti Safaris and we couldn't have been more satisfied with the service that they provided. Our guide, Fredy, was very knowledgeable about the parks and the wildlife living there, from birds to mammals to reptiles. He also knew the locations where we can have the best chance for rare encounters--and we did! We witnessed the great river crossing of hundreds and thousands of zebras and wildebeests (and also elephants); we took beautiful pictures of the whole check-list of the big fives: lions, leopards, elephants, cape buffaloes and even the critically endangered black rhino; we saw a black mamba on the road and we were very close to the shy serval cats! It was just AWESOME! Highly recommend this company to anyone that is anticipating for an exciting trip in Tanzania!

TOUR OF ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK AND THE SERENGETI For first time visitors to the Serengeti we (4 adults and 5 children) were anxious about the quality service awaiting us. The wall to wall comprehensive experience from Great Serengeti Safaris started right from the airport at Kilimanjaro. And from 31 Aug (when we touched down) to 8 Aug (when we took off) it was real fun and excitement. Nico and Ahmed, our very knowledgeable guides spared no effort in tolerance and patience to make our usually tardy kids feel at home and relaxed. What of the very state of the art Melia Lodge inserted in the middle of nowhere which makes you forget occasionally that your next door neighbour could be a giraffe, a zebra or a buffalo!
